The House of Edgar Business Update – 1st June 2020

This week at The House of Edgar, we are delighted to inform all stakeholders in our business that we have taken steps to return to work across all of our operations.

Our first phase of our return to work, will involve a small workforce, working strictly within Government guidelines, and give us the ability to manufacture across all of our product ranges and categories.

This will allow us and all of the employees who are returning to work, to ensure we familiarise ourselves with the new safety procedures and working practices we have put in place and to make sure that all of our staff are safe in their workplace . We have several new measures in place to keep our staff safe, healthy and comfortable whilst at work. The Health and Safety of our employees is of paramount importance to us.

As our valued customers know, we have been open for business for a few weeks now, receiving orders and despatching goods that we have available from our comprehensive stock service ranges across our brand ( This next step, in terms of starting up manufacturing in a small way, will enable us to further meet the demands of our valued customers.

Over the coming weeks, following government guidance, and also respecting the wishes of our customers, whilst at all times ensuring that our employees are working in a safe environment, our aims are to gradually increase our working capacity, and to manufacture to meet the needs of our customers.

Our Sales Director Bill Wheelan ([email protected]) is working with a small customer service team and warehouse and logistics team, and is available to answer any customer enquiries and questions. He is also working with our Production team (where again we have a small team working) at Head office so that we can give accurate delivery times on new orders. New orders are being processed and we are shipping goods on a daily basis.

As circumstances and Demand changes we will continue to update and change our plans whilst at all times putting the health and safety of our employees and the needs of our customers to the top of our list.
